WELCOME TO OUR BLOG!
Well here goes nothing.......
We have read EVERYWHERE that the best advertisement for a photography business is a blog (and good work and word of mouth of course) - and although we're pretty sure only my dad will be reading this (hi dad! :), we finally decided to bite the bullet and start one.
Both Jas and I plan on updating the blog, with personal and business entries - whatever we're in the mood for! Come back and visit us - and leave a comment or two!!

Later alligator :)Senior Portraits - Kayla
Yesterday was Kayla's Senior Portraits Session - Jason and Kayla started out in the studio for some nice indoor shots, then headed outside around Bel Air for some fun, colorful outdoor pictures. Jason also got some pictures of Kayla and her best friend - those are always fun to capture!! Kayla has fiery red hair and gorgeous blue-green eyes, so it's not surprising that her pictures look beautiful :)

Dess & Nino
Dess and Nino are no strangers to J. Thomas Photography - Jason shot Topher and Estelle's wedding last year and Dess and Nino were both in the bridal party. It's always nice to work with couples from past weddings!
This week they ventured to the Inner Harbor for Dess and Nino's Engagement Session. The weather was beautiful, and the city backdrop was a fun change of pace from Harford County :). Dess and Nino both looked fabulous - their style combined with the colors and textures in the city made for some pretty cool pictures :)

Gram-mom's 90th Birthday
Today is Max and Mallory's Great-Grandmother's 90th Birthday!! Happy Birthday Gram-mom!!
Last night Jason's parents had the family over for a wonderful Birthday celebration. There was lots of good food, good company, and a ton of good music (Jas' dad is in the BSO and kindly made his drum set available to the grandkids....)!!
Gram-mom looked absolutely beautiful:

We love you Gram-mom :)
Pool Day!!
This past Sunday we had a play date with some of our best friends from middle/high school and their families. Everyone is super-busy, but we try to get together as often as possible - one month us girls do a night out by ourselves, and the next month we try to do some sort of family get-together. Jas and I are SOOOOOOOO lucky to have such an amazing group of friends...and now that a lot of us have kids, hopefully Max, Mallory and Jack will have friends for life :)
Here's a little peek at the kiddos in action....enjoy :)
p.s. - Girls - I love you!! Thanks for my gift!!! And Heath - we missed you!
Rashida & Eliott
Earlier this month Jason got to sink his feet in the sand while on a trip to beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It wasn't all play though (poor guy :) - he was there to shoot Rashida and Eliott's wedding. Rashida and Eliott were joined by 95 of their closest friends and family and had an amazing wedding weekend. Rehearsal dinner on Friday and Wedding on Saturday - everybody had a blast (who wouldn't?)! This was Jason's first destination wedding, but certainly won't be his last! Thanks to Fred for assisting (but I'm going next time - hee hee :).
Congratulations Rashida & Eliott!!
