WELCOME TO OUR BLOG!
Well here goes nothing.......
We have read EVERYWHERE that the best advertisement for a photography business is a blog (and good work and word of mouth of course) - and although we're pretty sure only my dad will be reading this (hi dad! :), we finally decided to bite the bullet and start one.
Both Jas and I plan on updating the blog, with personal and business entries - whatever we're in the mood for! Come back and visit us - and leave a comment or two!!

Dess & Nino
Dess and Nino are no strangers to J. Thomas Photography - Jason shot Topher and Estelle's wedding last year and Dess and Nino were both in the bridal party. It's always nice to work with couples from past weddings!
This week they ventured to the Inner Harbor for Dess and Nino's Engagement Session. The weather was beautiful, and the city backdrop was a fun change of pace from Harford County :). Dess and Nino both looked fabulous - their style combined with the colors and textures in the city made for some pretty cool pictures :)

Rashida & Eliott
This June, Jason is leaving an 8-month pregnant me and our 2 munchkins for 4 days to go to sunny Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to shoot Rashida and Eliott's wedding. He is super-psyched and really looking forward to it (me too....ok, not really, but I'm trying to be optimistic :) Rashida and Eliott traveled to our neck of the woods for their engagement session, and their pictures turned out great (that tends to happen when you're working with gorgeous people :)

Pamela & Scott
This past Friday morning (before we went to the Zoo :) Jas had an engagement session with Pamela and Scott. He was pretty excited about this session for 2 reasons:
1. It was in Mt. Vernon - much closer than DC, and a change in location was refreshing
2. Pamela had a totally different idea in mind (than a lot of brides) of what she wanted to get out of the session - she wanted fun, care-free pictures, and basically NO cheese moments at all! Jas was pretty stoked to do a session like that!
I think they turned out great!!! (I know - I'm Jas' biggest fan :)
So - without further ado, here are Pamela & Scott!

Jess & Dan
I had another fun engagement session last week - this time with Jess and Dan, and Cookie...their dog :) Cookie was awesome! She posed, smiled, and was very well-behaved! Jess and Dan were pretty well-behaved too :) The session was a lot of fun - can't wait for the wedding!

Deb & Bryan
Finally! After rescheduling twice due to rain, we were finally able to do Deb and Bryan's engagement session Monday morning in Washington, D.C. - we even made it in time to capture some shots with the Cherry Blossoms in bloom. It was a chilly, rainy morning and everything was wet from the rain on Sunday, but Deb and Bryan were troopers and thier shoot turned out great!
