When Jason and I wrote our 2008 business goals earlier this year, #2 on the list was "Donate Services to 2 or more charities/organization's". Although that goal was met pretty early on, Jason continues to support charities when given the opportunity, and one of those opportunities came to him recently. Jason was made aware of a local organization - the Casey Cares Foundation, which is a Maryland-based non-profit organization that "provides uplifting programs to critically ill children and their families". He wasn't able to help them out with the original event they needed photographed, but when he found out they had their 5th Annual Golf Tournament coming up, which each year raises many-thousands of dollars for the foundation, he jumped at the opportunity to help out and offered to photograph the tournament.

The golf tournament was held at the Maryland Golf and Country Club, and the weather was hot, but absolutely beautiful! The day began with some practice swings, followed by some words from Casey Baynes, founder of the Casey Cares Foundation, then the tee-off. After all the teams finished up, there was a dinner and auction. The event was successful, uplifting, and Jason was thrilled to be able to take part in it (and he was nice enough to bid and win a silent auction item for me - isn't he super sweet!!).

Take a look:

Ryan Ogden, Beth Wieczorek and Casey Baynes did an amazing job with this event!
